I am very pleased that the incumbent councilman Michael Hagan is seeking re-election on the April 4 ballot.
I have had interactions and am familiar with all three of the council candidates for Ward 4. And after thoughtful consideration, I am convinced Mr. Hagan is by far the best choice in Ward 4 for election to the City Council. He is also endorsed by Liberty’s Public Safety - International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 42 and retired Liberty Police Chiefs Jim Simpson and Ed Collins. As a seasoned councilman Mr. Hagan provides the experience and continuity to keep the outstanding economic vitality and quality of life on track here in Liberty. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for B&B Theatres, a national company headquartered in Liberty, his specialized skills provide financial expertise that serves this city well. Mr. Hagan is a key member of the city’s Budget Committee which is like having a CFO in your family, a trusted go-to person you can depend on to help make informed decisions. I strongly encourage you to vote for Michael Hagan for City Council - Ward 4, the incumbent candidate in the April 4 election. We need his proven track record of success and institutional knowledge of the city to continue moving our community forward. Lyndell W. We co-chaired different committees: Mike helped lead the Economic Engine committee, and I served with the Infrastructure group. It was clear from the start that Mike had a strong grasp of financials, well-articulated questions and ideas on how Liberty could reach its goals. From that process, Mike has emerged as one of Liberty’s brightest leaders, and the accomplishments of his time on the council are testament to his positive influence.
